WM Print Communications

WM Print Communications are a digital and lithographic print company based in Chesterfield. Founded over 80 years ago, the company offers a wide selection of print services and host a selection of finishing equipment for in-house finishing techniques.

I was approached by Whittington Moor Print Company to rebrand the company, looking at making the company identity match its modern print technology it houses. As the company works with mainly local based companies that are familiar with the company and services it provides, I felt it was necessary to look at changing the company name to make it feel less dated.

I kept the colour palette similar blues as previously used but allowed more tints and shades to be used to add more depth. My overall aim with the pattern was to give the impression of folds and creases focusing on the finishing they offer. I then looked at bring this into the typeface in the main logo.
